fairly normal : sept. 2003. while i was growing up it was a tradition for me and my father to go to the county fair(s) every year. i got older and moved away and our opportunities to go to the fair were rare. this year, however, i was here. and we went. and this is what it looked like.

Slow Eddy and the Gang : may 2004.

the fair with pops, take two. there will be three and four and five and....believe it.

my dad and i got to this particular fair five hours before the gates opened. silly us. it was a mistake which turned out to be amazing, because we had three cameras and a video camera between the two of us. what a day on the empty midway. it was great...the result was over four hundred pictures of mostly colors and empty midway textures, and we had the (unexpected) attention of most of the carnies and performers. it was quite an interesting day.

next one is less than a month away...... we've only just begun.
